Founded in London and rooted in over two decades of British craftsmanship, DGN London has furnished some of the world's most distinguished hotels, private residences and hospitality spaces. Dōgen is our first dedicated outdoor collection — designed to bring the same rigour, elegance and longevity we demand of every interior piece to the garden, terrace and beyond.
Every piece in the Dōgen collection is engineered for the demands of outdoor life — from coastal salt air to intense Mediterranean sun. Premium iroko wood, marine-grade aluminium and UV-resistant rope are selected for their beauty and resilience. Custom finishes, bespoke dimensions and hospitality-grade specifications are available across the entire collection.
On the Name
"Dōgen" — the macron above the 'o' is a nod to the Japanese concept of enduring form and quiet permanence. Like the finest British gardens, it speaks of things built to last, to weather every season with grace.

Joe C. Dogan founded DGN London in 2002 with a singular conviction: that truly exceptional furniture should be as beautiful as it is enduring. Over two decades, that vision has shaped some of Britain's most celebrated interiors — from Mayfair townhouses to five-star hotel suites.
With Dōgen, Joe brings that same philosophy to the outdoors. Each piece is conceived to age with grace, to hold its form through seasons, and to carry the quiet authority of something made to last a lifetime.
